Can Monarch caterpillars eat milkweed with powdery mildew?

Hi, I'm raising monarch caterpillars but don't have any leaves. I found some with a white powder substance on it. After looking it up I found out it's powdery mildew. If I wash them is it okay for my caterpillars to eat them? Thanks
