You really think that killing animals is the equivalent of killing a human. Give me a break. I love animals and I even contribute money to save endangered species, but no way would other animals lives are the the equivalent of a human live. What he did was indeed despicable but it really cannot be compere to a murderer. As for Da Vinci's quote, well, such time hasn't arrive yet. Until then, this system is what we have right now. We cannot judge today's crime based on what tomorrow might be.
