Is my tattoo idea too generic?

I was thinking of getting a Chinese symbol for fate and the word "breathe" under it in cursive-like letters. I really like this because i am a big believer of fate and it gives me a lot of comfort to know that everything that happens is exactly what is supposed to happen. So i should just breathe and keep going in life. I'm only concerned that people wont get it and think I'm trying to be trendy or something. Do you think this is a good idea or do you have any suggestions to make it better? Thank you <3
