Medicine says to take after eating, will the food inhibit absorbtion of medicine?

LIKE THE BOX SAYS! The box most likely tells you to take it after eating because your stomach will be coated with food so the medicine won't harm the stomach lining. Some medicines can cause harm to the stomach lining or make you extremely nauseous and having food in your stomach decreases these risks. Food will not interfere with the absorption of the medicine.
